What is Dance It Out (DIO) Adaptive Fitness Program?
Dance It Out Adaptive Program for people in wheelchairs or all levels of dance fitness students. Michele Jones (owner of Dance Me Fit) has been working in partnership with the Wheelchair Dancers Organization and with Billy Blanks Jr to offer a new Dance It Out (DIO) Adaptive Fitness class. This FREE, all-inclusive dance fitness class will get you moving! Come exercise and have fun while dancing to over 20 styles of dance from around the world. Whether you are a walker (able-bodied) or a roller (using a wheelchair) our DIO® Adaptive Program offers dance fitness routines for all levels of mobility.

What do I wear to a fitness class?
You can wear any type of fitness workout clothes from sweat pants, shorts, tank tops, t-shirts; anything comfortable and cool (as you will sweat a lot). As for shoes, wear cross-trainers or dance shoes – anything that will give you support. Dance sneakers such as Bloch or Capezio are an excellent choice for some people. We do not recommend bare feet or sock-feet for class due to lack of support and safety concerns. We also recommend you bring a towel and water to class. What if I don’t have any experience in dancing or with fitness?
You don’t need any dance experience. Just come and enjoy the fun, each song has a routine that has different steps that repeat. Each time you come it gets easier and easier. Usually by the third or fourth time you feel comfortable and are able to relax and enjoy the dance fitness workout!
What is your class schedule?
We offer many different dance fitness classes for kids, adults, and families. Some events are regularly and occur each week or each month. Other events are special events that occur one time throughout the year. Please visit our calendar to view the list of events.
